Quilt For Sara's Grandson

Sara just put this quick scrap quilt together for her grandson.  We all joined in to help her sandwich it.  Now she just has to do the quilting.  She's so happy that she was able to use all these left over fabrics.  It's a great quilt for a boy.

  1. Oh oh oh I LOVE that quilt---plaids are my most favorite and the size of those pieces show off the different plaids to perfection. Would you mind telling me the size of the cut pieces? It's lovely!

  2. Thanks Angie. I used the Yellow Brick Road pattern but made it completely scrapy with homespuns. Many were leftover from another grandson's quilt.

  3. It looks so nice with all those plaids. Sara's grandson will treasure it.

  4. Have you ever taken a look at the spray basting wall suggestion by Patsy Thompson for sandwiching? I started using it and it goes so much faster than pinning. You can check it out here
