Show & Tell

Susan brought us 2 tiny quilts to see this week.  She does wonderful hand quilting and these quilts show it.  I just love these mini quilts.

I found a group on Facebook called Small Quilt Lovers
for those of you that enjoy mini quilts. I get to see what everyone is doing everyday.

I've Been Organizing

Yes, I've been cutting up fabric that is less than a fat quarter and putting them into different sizes, like 10", 8 1/2" etc.  Now when I need them for scrappy quilts I have plenty of squares to choose from.

I've also made 21/2" strips.  This will make the process much faster.

Another Comfort Quilt

I liked this pattern so much I made it again for a gentleman in Betar Illit.  It's so easy and fast to make.  I hope he will enjoy using it as he recovers from his operation.

Doggie Pillow

I'm happy to find a place for all those unusable scraps.  I've just finished my 2nd Doggie pillow and working on a 3rd.  And I mean scraps.  Lots of small poly batting, threads and tiny pieces.

A Tablecloth

Sara has just made a beautiful tablecloth.  Wow, this is something else.  The pictures just can't show this well enough.  Sara decided to ask her new friend and long arm quilter to do the machine quilting.  They make a great team.

The H Block

I don't know what it is, but whenever I see Bonnie Hunter's Quiltcam, I just have to do whatever she is doing.  I gave this little H block a try and I like it very much.  I don't know that I will make a quilt just yet with the pattern, but I hope I will in the future.

We've Been On Vacation

This week we have been enjoying the Pesach (Passover) holiday.  No time for sewing.  Everyone has been traveling, visiting with family & friends and eating, eating & eating. Next week we will be getting back to our favorite activity of quilting.
Just to catch up a little, this is a little mini quilt that Susan has been working on.  She does wonderful, creative work.
