Ladies Day Out

Recently several of the ladies went to Jerusalem for the day.  We had a great lunch, rode the new train in the center of town and visited two museums.

The first museum was the Psalms (Tehillim) museum off of Cook Street.
There are 150 Psalms and the painter Moshe Tzvi HaLevi Berger, painted a picture that represented each one.  This was a massive accomplishment.  I purchased a book that showed a few of the paintings and a detail discription of each.  This is a must see for everyone.

Next we went to the Ticho House.  This is both a restaurant and a museum with a beautiful garden.

If you like antiques, you will enjoy inside.

  1. Thank you for sharing about the Museum of Psalms. I was able to find a video on the internet. Maybe someday I will be able to see it in person

  2. Looks like you had a lovely day. Thanks for sharing the places you visited. The Psalms artwork is fascinating and the picture of that tree grabs my attention. The branches remind me of tangled hair.
