First Get-together For August

This was a busy day for us.

Renee B is busy with a new baby quilt.  The great-grandchildren are coming faster than she can make the quilts. B"H
I'll try to get a better picture of Renee next time.

Hinda enjoyed a quick visit from her first grandchild.  She wanted to see what Bubbie was doing.
Hinda had a chance to show her how a sewing machine works.

Shifra brought along her new fabric stash and wanted suggestions on what to do with them. We enjoy doing this.  You should hear the many suggestions.  It's really fun.  This stash all started with one focus fabric. The colors are wonderful.

Rina is up to trimming her placemats and binding them.  It isn't as boring when you do this job with others around, so she did this at the Quilting Corner.  It seems to go faster.
Notice the 2 ladies at the table!  That's Sara and Susan hand stitching their bindings to their latest quilts.
Sara is on the left and she made a traditional Clay's Choice.
Susan featured her Tumblers quilt on her blog-High on the Hill.
Please drop in and see all the lovely quilts that Susan has made. http://susanquilts.blogspot.com/

Rina has new fabric for a Disappearing 9 Patch quilt.  The fabrics are just too adorable and the flannel is so soft.

Esther finished an adorable Dresden Plate block and brought it for everyone to see.  Show and tell is so much fun.
