Show and Tell #7

What a busy morning!  It's hard to know where to begin.
Sara has started a new log cabin.  She really enjoys doing this pattern.  This one will be for her son in New York.  It's really going to be beautiful.

Renee B has been working on this scrappy Broken Dishes for some time now.  It's not her fault.  I haven't been available to help her with this first time project.  She will be hanging this as a curtain in her craft studio and it will be just adorable when completed.  I'm so happy that she hasn't given up.

Esther has completed her appliqué and brought in 2 new quilt tops that are ready to be sandwiched.  She needed help in figuring out how much batting to buy in centimeters.  This is not my area of expertise, so I sent her over to Sara and they quickly figured it out.  Too much thinking for me.

Renee S brought in a finished baby quilt and the first square for her new Dresden Plate quilt. This is her first time piecing and then appliquéing.  She bought the scrappy petals on the internet, so there is a huge assortment of fabrics and colors.  The black background will really enhance the pattern.

Naomi worked more on her Ohio Star variation.  She has added appliqué on the corners.  What a terrifc job for a beginner.  Also, she made the most adorable blue booties for us to see.  There is a 1/2 shekel next to it so you can get an idea of the size. This would be a great size for a new born.  By the way, even though the 1/2 shekel looks big it's only worth about 13 cents.
