My name is Caroline Robinson but most of my friends call me Etty. I will be writing on this blog most of the time, but I hope the other members of our quilt group will join me in writing our blog. A special thank you to my hubby for setting up this blog. And a special thank you to Lana Lee Miller and Peggy Graham. These 2 women taught me to quilt at Redstone Arsenal outside of Huntsville Alabama in the early 1980’s. Lana Lee had us meet at her home every week and to my amazement that is what is happening now here in Israel. My friends come to me every Monday morning and I enjoy it so much. I hadn’t quilted in many years but since my retirement 6 years ago, I have started again. I’m a hand quilter and the quilting world has changed a great deal since I learned. I’m now enjoying the old methods along with the new.
I hope you will look in from time to time to see what my friends and I are making.
