Tiny Pieces

Susan is making good use of leftover tiny pieces.  Here is another one of her many quilts that she is working on.

A Tiny Quilt Shop

My husband's cousin, Sissy, has been making doll houses most of her life.  Recently we spoke to her on Skype and we took pictures of some of her outstanding work while she was giving us a tour.  This is just a small sample of her work.

And of course, my favorite, the Quilt Shop.

And here are the quilters relaxing after a full day of fabric shopping.

Renee's Mom

Recently Renee's Mom (we call her Bubbie) had her 100th birthday.  In honor of this occasion 3 trees were planted in Betar on the main street when you come into town.  A plaque was given to her by the Mayor of Betar Illit.  Friends, family and people from City Hall came out to give her a Mazel Tov.

Renee's Special Handbag

Renee has been making so many things that I'm having trouble keeping up with her.  Her latest is this fantastic handbag she will take along with her on special occasions.

More scarfs
Renee's daughter Bryna does a lot of  Scrap-booking.  She used her cutting machine to cut out fabric instead of paper and this is the result.  We will have to wait to see the finished results.

Another Comfort Quilt

We've finished another comfort quilt.   This one has lots of fish for a little boy to enjoy.   I hope he likes it.

A Quilt For A Friend

Sara is just finishing up a quilt for a friend that hasn't been well.   This will certainly cheer her up.  The pattern is the Disappearing 9 Patch.   Once again Sara, a lovely quilt.
This is the scrappy back.

Sara's Dot Quilt

Mazel Tov to Esther J and Monique.   Both had a new grandchild born this week.

Sara has completed her latest dot quilt.  She did a fantastic job on this.  Such a happy quilt.  I think the young lady that's getting this will enjoy the back as much as the front.  Another wonderful quilt from Sara, Yeah

A Trip To Tel Aviv

I recently had to take my Janome sewing machine into Tel Aviv to the dealer where I purchased it.  I'm happy with my machine, but I had to find out a few things about it.   Well, I'm getting to be like Bonnie Hunter from "Quiltville" fame.  In the front of the store, what do you think I found?  Two beautiful treadle machines.  Not for sale, just to look at, which is good.  I already have one and there is no room for any more.  I just enjoyed looking at them.

Red, White & Blue

Susan has just finished this star quilt top.   I'm so happy she brought this for show and tell.  This is going to be another terrific quilt for some lucky person.

Hinda's Baby Quilt

Another baby quilt is finished.   Hinda finished this quickly and closed it up pillow case style.  It's an easy way to make a small quilt.   I'm sure the baby will enjoy it.   Those bears are so cute.

This is the back.   I like the orange top, and I have a thing for dots so this was a great choice for the back.

A Bonnie Hunter Quilt

If you have been following Bonnie Hunter from "Quiltville" you would know she has been making 2 baby quilts.  I didn't use the same measurements but I worked along with her and made another comfort quilt with her instructions.  This quilt will go to one of the children that recently had a fire in their apartment and lost everything.  I had already made the 9 patches using her idea of Leaders &  Enders so this quilt worked up really fast.
