I'm happy the way this string quilt came out.  I just have to make a hanging sleep on the back and then it's off to the post office.

In Between Holidays

This is the holiday season for us here in Israel.  We just had Rosh HaShana and Yom Kippur and now we are getting ready for Succot.  There hasn't been much time for quilting.  The ladies did get some work done this week.

My grandson Yaacov Mendel came by to work on his quilt top again.  What a pleasure for me.

 

 

Mazel Tov

Once again a Mazel Tov to Renee.  She just married off the last of 9 children.

As of today this is the family.  What a happy group.  I wonder if there will be any future quilters here?

Making Progress

I made lots of progress on this Star String quilt.  It's 27"x27" now and I have to decide if I should make it a little larger.  It will be a wall hanging for my sister.  I hope she will like it.

 

Another String Quilt

I've received a request for another Star String quilt from the best sister in the world.  So who could turn her down?  Not me, so I've started another quilt which will be a wall hanging.

My star string quilt is getting bigger.  I'm looking to see how much more I need to make it.  I sort of design as I go along.
