Sara started a project using wonderful silk fabric. It turned out to be more difficult than expected. The fabric is so lovely, but for me, too hard to work with. I'm sure she will do a great job. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's finished.

ReplyDeleteI applaud Sara for taking on the challenge. I've contemplated working with silk too, maybe painting on it first, but for the time being it's still in the to-do-some-day-in-the-far-future stage.
ReplyDeleteEtty, what is she making with all this silk? It looks really beautiful. Did she use some kind of stabilizer on the back of it? That would make it a lot easier to work with.
