Disappearing 9 Patch

I'm teaching 2 (17 yrs old) twins to quilt. They made their beginners pillows and are now on to their quilts.

The first picked out these fabrics from my stash

and the 2nd picked out these fabrics

 So I decided to join them with all scrappy fabrics
