An Answer To A Comment

I received the following comment and I wish to respond.  First, I thank you for your input.  I will try to do better in the future.  I will ask my Hubby to check my spelling when he has the time.  I am reminded of an old quilt expression.  We make mistakes in out quilts from time to time and many quilters leave them in their quilts.  It's a reminder that only G-D is prefect.  I feel the same way about my posts.

Busy Week

You will have to forgive me but this is a busy week.  Not for quilting.  I'm babysitting some of my grand kids all week.  So they come first.  I'll be back next week.

Hebrew Names

Rina has been making quilts for her granddaughters.  She has their Hebrew names put on them.  Unfortunately pictures don't show how lovely this is.

What A Busy Week

This was a very busy week.  I could hardly keep up with the ladies.

Renee worked on her counted x stitch.

 And her Butterfly blocks.

 Susan worked on her basket quilt.

 And her hand quilting.

 Sara worked on a new quilt for a boy. She was deciding what colors go together.

And she worked on more place mats for a friend. She is using new color combinations.

 I worked on my cat quilt.  I sandwiched it, did some quilting on it and now for the binding.  It's great to get so much accomplished.

Look at what can be done with left over batiks. Susan these are lovely.

Shower Curtain Or Bed Quilt

Rina made all these fantastic squares so now she can't decide which it should be.  A shower curtain or a quilt.  Also she has choices of colors to use to go with the squares.  Always so many decisions.  We should all be good at this already. Whatever Rina decides I know it will be beautiful.

Pink, gray and very dark gray/black all go well with these blocks.

On The Design Wall

Back to basics.  This is a simple blue scrappy quilt top.  I think I will make a white border and then scrappy squares around it.  It will be a baby quilt so I hope to pick out something cute for a toddler on the back.  We shall see.

First HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sara

This flower quilt top is almost finished.  Sara put on the 1st yellow border and now she is making scrappy squares to go around for the final border.  So, so cute.  We all love the fabrics.
