Sara has finished her Grandmothers Flower Garden top. She has been working on it for a long time and is so excited that she has reached this point. It's completely paper pieced and fantastic.
I am working on a paper pieced Grandmother's Garden as weel. I am thrilled to see one finished! I figure I will be in a home before I get mine done. I try to sew whenever my DH drives us anywhere or when I am on the train. Unfortunately, we haven't been going anywhere much!
Oh my gosh! So pretty! I've been working on one a couple of years now, but it has been totally stalled since - maybe last May? In any event, seeing this one finished may be just the push I need. Thanks!
I want to thank you ladies for your lovely comments. I started this quilt in April 2009 and finished it 5 years later. I did many quilts in between. I am thrilled with the outcome. Now, who is going to quilt it is the question! :).
This is gorgeous! Amazing work, Sara!
ReplyDeleteI agree. The picture really can't show how lovely this quilt top is.
DeleteI remember when Sara started making this. It came out gorgeous!
