Tonight starts my holiday.  I wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year.

 

A Wedding Gift

Sara has done it again.  Two twin size quilts are a gift to "Ita", her granddaughter.  She is getting Married this December 25th.  Sara used the Yellow Brick Road pattern for both, using the same fabrics.  She even made pillowcases to match and was able to find sheets that worked perfect with the quilts.  A fabulous quilting job was done by our friend Rebekah Reiheimer.  She can be reached at 02 993 4744 in Har Gilo.

Something Different

Susan is doing something different.  It's a crocheted afghan.  It's lovely and it's almost finished.

Mug Rugs

Ruth is making mug rugs for gifts.  She is doing a great job and learns new techniques quickly.  I didn't do so well when I tried it.

Baby Bibs

Renee is a busy lady but still finds the time to be creative.  She has just finished these counted x stitch bibs.

Avigayil has finished her string quilt for a granddaughter.  She is so happy and now ready to start her next project.

This is my "Yellow Brick Road" quilt top.

 I'm putting on 2 borders now.

The ladies have been making this pattern in almost every color wave.  This is my version. The fabrics were given to me from a friend returning from California.  They are her colors. This quilt when finished my go back to her for she is a California girl.

Ruth's Pillow

Ruth has been making many pillows.  This one is finished and she is making a tulip pillow now.

This is a poplar quilt pattern for the ladies here.  Sara has made this pattern many times, now Rina and even I am making it.

This quilt top is now sandwiched and Rina is quilting it.

A Quilt For Sandy

My sister Sandy requested a wall hanging about 2 years ago and I finally made it for her. She with out a doubt is the better sister for being so patient.  I can now post pictures of it because Sandy just received it.

Happy Bithday Renee

Renee is celebrating her 70th birthday.  A very dear friend, Elisheva, planned a special day for her.  She took Renee and 13th of her friends to the Tel Aviv area for a fun day.  We went to a special park for relaxation on paddle boats, a ride on golf carts and a stroll through the park.  We went out to lunch and to a special museum for Diaspora Jews.  This is a birthday Renee will not  forget.
