Progress On A String Quilt

Avigayil has put her borders on her string quilt and has it sandwiched for quilting.  Great job Avigayil.

A Trip To Har Gilo

Sara, Ruth and I made a trip to visit our special friend and long arm quilter, Rebekah Reiheimer.

A Quilt Panel

If you need to make a small quilt quickly, this is the way to go.  I bought this little panel and just added some borders.  It's just a top at the moment, but it will be ready when I get a call that a new baby needs a quilt. Then it will be ready in a flash.

Sara's New Quilts

Sara has been making 2 quilts using the same fabrics but 2 different patterns.  They are just outstanding.  She also happened to find sheets that match the fabrics.  What a great find.  The quilts have been quilted by are friend Rebekah Reiheimer, a long arm quilter living in Har Gilo. Here you will see Sara just finishing the binding on one of the quilts.

Rina is sewing away on her latest quilt.  Everyone is working on long awaited projects.  It's a busy time for us.

Ruth came back from a trip with new exciting fabrics for her stash.  She isn't sure what she will be making yet, so we shall have to wait and see.

Baby Quilt

We haven't been together for a very long time.  We've had our holidays and many have been traveling. So this week when we finally got together almost everyone was able to come.  With so may here it was a little hard to get close to see the latest quilt Rina is making for her new grandson.  It has some of the new fuzzy fabric in it which is so soft and cuddly. This baby is really going to enjoy this quilt when it is finished.

This Is A Crazy Time

If you voted in the USA elections did you notice anything different?  Wouldn't this be fun after waiting in long lines.

At the same time in Israel it's a special day for anyone arriving in Israel and making it home.  Welcome to everyone!!!

 

All Solid Fabric Quilt Top

Susan is making this all solid quilt top that has a modern flair.  I really like it and I look forward to seeing how she will quilt it.

Galic Knots Quilt Top

This is another unfinished quilt. I enjoyed making this Garlic Knot pattern.  I'm leaving it as is for the moment because I may decide to make it larger, just so I can make more squares.  It's crazy I know, but these squares are additive and fun.

Latest String Quilt Top

I've been busy making quilt tops.  I can't seem to stop long enough to quilt and finish them.  This is the latest String quilt.
