My Bird Bath

As much as I enjoy quilting, I enjoy watching the local birds take a bath in the bird bath that my sister Geri once gave me.  It's very relaxing to look out the window next to my sewing machine and see how many different birds come by to say good morning to me.

 

 

 

Betar Illit, Israel

This is the entrance to my town of Betar Illit.  It's a small town and we don't have a gas station here.  But that's not the reason for the transportation that you see here.  We do have modern buses and cars.

 

Crumb Blocks

I've been making more crumb blocks.  They go quickly and use up all those little pieces that you don't know what to do with.

 

Have You Seen These?

People are posting cakes for quilters on Facebook.  I'm so amazed at the talent out there.  They are too beautiful to eat. Sorry that I can't give you complete information on the creators.

Black, White And Red All Over

I've always wanted to make a quilt with Black, Red and White.  I don't know why and who it will go to but I have started one and I really like it.

I've Got The Bug

Ever since Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville taught us how to make the Garlic Knot pattern on a video, everyone is making them. By the way, it is also called the Arrowhead Puzzle.  Here is my first square.

Border Completed

I finally got around to putting the border on one of my quilt tops.  I seem to be working on too many things at the same time so it's hard to finish any one top.  Anyone else with this problem?

A New Quilt

Rina and Sara spent some time cutting out a new quilt.  The fabric is from Keepsake and it's the Yellow Brick Road pattern.

A Quilt That Is Almost Finished

We have posted the progress of this fantastic quilt.  Rina has it almost finished.  The borders and special message is completed.
