A Travel Bag

Sara will be making a trip soon and needed a new travel bag.  So she made one.  It also has a pocket on the outside and a couple in the inside.  Great job Sara.

A New Idea

Missouri Star Quilt Co has come up with a new quilt idea on Facebook.  It shows their quilt videos and a new shorter version called Snips. If you don't have the time to watch the original video this is really fast.  You should look into this if you enjoy MSQC . What a great idea.

Something New

They say that writers get writers block, well I seem to have had a quilting block.  I have been making string blocks because I just haven't been able to make anything new lately.  Well, today I started something simple and it feels good to get started on something new again.

A Trip To BudRuz

It's always fun to visit BudRutz and look for fabric.  Some of us got to do that his week.

 They are having a sale on brand new industrial sewing machines.  A great buy if your are looking for one.

Finished Pillow

Sara has finished her latest pillow.  What a delightful gift this is going to be.

 

Susan's Baby Quilt

Susan has been working on this adorable baby quilt.  She does all the quilting by hand and the results are wonderful.  This is going to be one happy baby when it's cuddled under it.

Sara is making a pillow for a friend and it's going to be fabulous.  She's in the process of picking out the borders.

Strings And More Strings

I continue to make strings for comfort quilts.  I have so many scraps that I  must use them up.  I was able to find a new home for some, so that helped a lot.

Renee's husband passed away last year.  A special scroll is being dedicated to the Shul in his honor.  This is the special cover for it.

Rina's Tablecloth

Rina has been working on this tablecloth which was put aside for awhile.  It's time to get it finished for her daughter.  Yes, it's big but her daughter does fill it up with many guests.

Ruth is continuing to work on her pillow tops.  They are working out very, very nicely.

 

 

Quilters Making Skirts

Renee has a special event coming up so all the little girls will have to have matching outfits.  This is the first of the skirts she will be making.

Sara will also be making a skirt for herself.  She has had this fabric for a long time and now is the time to make something with it.

Susan Is Back

I'm happy to say that Susan has just returned from a trip to the States.  We are so happy to have her back.  She brought along 2 little mini's that she has been working on.

Rina's Squares

After making many strips, Rina is now cutting them into 2 /2" squares for two separate quilts.
