Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville has her readers joining in on a Tumbler project. This is the first one of mine. It's just the top at the moment.

A Finished Pillow
Shifra has been working on this design for a pillow and she has just completed it. Beautiful, just beautiful. Thanks so much Shifra for letting us see this.
The pattern for the pillow came from Christa Quilts quilt-a-long.
The rest of the instructions for the pillow cover and insert came from Crazy Mom Quilts.

On The Desgin Wall
I'm a big fan of Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville. She has a new Leaders & Enders project using Tumbler blocks. It's such an easy quilt that I find myself doing it as a regular quilt, not just in between making something else. So, like many others, I have this already planned and ready to go. I started out with 5" squares which have already been cut out.

A Finished Quilt
Rina has been working on this very happy strip quilt and it is now finished. Most of her quilts have some special Hebrew writing on them that adds so much to her quilts.
Once again Rina, this is a very happy quilt.

Scraps???
You just never know what people can do with scraps. I'm doing the Bonnie Hunter's new Leaders & Enders quilt. It's the Tumbler quilt. I'm using 5" squares and just cutting off a drop of fabric. This is what Susan is doing with these scraps that I would have put into my pile for doggie beds.
This is a great idea.

Show & Tell
We don't get to see needlepoint so often so this was a real treat. Ruth brought in a needlepoint that she has made. It's is so, so special. Lots of work, but certainly worth the effort. Thanks so much Ruth for bringing this in.

Another Comfort Quilt Delivered
I'm happy to say we delivered another comfort quilt to someone who happens to be a friend of ours. She was so, so excited.

Bud-Rutz
Bud-Rutz is a great store to buy quilt fabric. I always find what I need when I go there. In order to thank them for all they do, I made this little quilt top to be displayed near the fabric. If you live in Israel, this is the place to go.

Mistakes Have To Be Corrected
Susan had some geese going in the wrong direction so she has corrected it now. Lots of work for a little quilt. She really loves it and I do too.

A Green Quilt
Sara had a lot of left over squares from her Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt. This is a possible arrangement that can be used for a comfort quilt. We aren't finished with playing with the squares yet.

A Happy Quilt
Rina has started a quilt with a jelly roll. These are the most happy fabrics that I have ever seen. What a great quilt this will be.

Give- A- Way
We have reached another goal. Since our blog began in 2009 we have had 1100 posts. This is amazing. So I'd like to have this little give-a-way to mark the occasion. You know how this works. Please leave a message that you want to be part of this and I will put your name in one time. If you are a follower also, I will put your name in twice. If you are a new follower I will put your name in 3 times.
This book is by Nancy Zieman and Natalie Sewell. It's an interesting technique that I think you would enjoy doing and the results will bring a big smile on any child's face. I'll pick a name before the end of next week.

Summer Quilt Retreat Continued.
Shifra brought along her latest quilt top for show and tell.
Shifra is working on this special paper piece design and she had so many options for putting this together. It's fun to see how many ways it can be put together.
Susan brought along her latest paper piece mini quilt also.
Rina finished up a quilt top that both Sara & Rina have been working on.
We accomplished a great deal and everyone seemed to enjoy the retreat. They are already talking about doing it again next year.
