Sara's Quilt

Sara has been working on a neat quilt.

 Now she has the borders and binding on, so the ladies helped her sandwich it.  

Comfort Quilts

Two comfort quilts where delivered this week.  They went to a mother and daughter.  I'm so happy with the response from them.

New Sewing Machines

Thanks to an anonymous person, we were able to purchase 2 used machines to help our ladies.  Now I just have to find the time to learn how to use them properly.

Just Back From Rebekah

Sara has just gotten her latest quilt back from Rebekah Reiheimer, our long arm quilter.  Sara is just putting the binding on now.  WOW, what a fantastic quilt.  Great job by Sara and Rebekah.

 

Unfinished Quilt

This quilt of Susan's is finally going to be finished.  She is looking for fabric for the binding now.

A Trip Tp IKEA

Sara and I recently made a trip to IKEA here in Israel.  It's only an hour away from us and just a fun day out.  We knew there is no quilting fabric there, but we did see some fun things.

This was a strange chair.

 Sara wasn't afraid to try it out.

 The many kids shopping with their parents had a great time trying out these chairs.  Mind you, they swivel too.

 

And for the kids in all of us, who wouldn't like to play with this kitchen! 

What A Cute Idea

I saw this idea on the internet and wanted to pass it on.  It's so, so cute for a quilt rack.

A Panel Quilt

This charmer came with batting and backing and is already quilted.  The problem is what to do with it now.  Just put binding on and close it up?  Or make it larger?  This will take awhile for Rina to decide what do do.

Bryna's Next Quilt

Bryna's next quilt will be lots of 2 1/2" squares.  So, here she goes sorting lights and dark's.

The Five & Dime Ruler

Sara has made this darling quilt using the Five & Dime ruler.  It's easy to do and she used her favorite colors.

 

 

 

 Now there are decisions to be made. Should she add borders and     how to quilt this lovely top.

Heart Log Cabin Quilt

Sara has her heart log cabin ready for quilting.  And now once again the big question.  How to quilt this?  Lots of ideas and a decision was made.  I think Sara will be happy with the final results.  This is a really wonderful quilt.  The back is red with white dots-WOW

 

On The Design Wall

This will be for a 4yr girl that is blind.  I have to make it a bit larger and I want to put a warm cozy flannel on the back.

Ruth's First Quilt

Ruth is working on her 1st quilt and she decided to do the Rail Fence.  It's coming along nicely.  I'm sure it won't be her last quilt.  She is hooked on quilting.

Sara's Applique

Sara has been working on this applique for a long time.  She wanted to get it right and beautiful and it is.  Now that the top is finished on to quilting.

On The Design Wall

This is going to be another mother and daughter quilt combo.  First the Mom, something simple but pretty.

Update On Rina's Star Quilt

Rina has her star quilt sewn together.  Today she sandwiched it and has it ready for quilting.  That is always the question.  How to quilt something like this.  The decision was made, everyone had a suggestion and now we wait to see the results.

Super Quilt

This is Rina's quilt and is it super, yes it is.  Lot's of work and beautiful.
