I'm making some string quilts so I've pulled out what I thought were a few scraps. It's amazing how scraps seem to grow and grow.

Something New For Us
In the past some of ladies have made their own fabric. This is a small sample. We are hoping in the next few weeks those ladies that haven't done this will give it a try. Of course I did this in the 1960's but it's different now I'm sure. We used T shirts in those days.

Just Finished
I really enjoyed making this Comfort quilt. I made my own version of an old pattern using old shirts. So now it's on the way to a young man that I hope will enjoy it.

A New Project
Sara is deciding on a new project. She picked up this pattern and fat quarters. Now she has to decide if this pattern is what she wants to make and if she should add more fabrics to it. This is always the most creative and fun part of a quilt for me. I enjoy the planning.

Another UFO Finsihed
Susan has completed another hand quilting project. What a beautiful quilt. If only I had the time to get back to handing quilting. I would love it.

Answer To Anonymous
I received a note from Anonymous and I have no way of contacting her. This is the answer to her question from Shifra, about the Banded Star. The original pattern is for a 12" square. She reduced it to a 10" square. It's from
Jennifer Ofenstein at
I hope this helps you.

Susan's Hand Quilting
Susan always brings something to hand quilt when she comes from Neve Yaacov to us in Betar Illit. She quilts on the bus and is always working on it when she arrives here. This is a fantastic doll quilt that's just about finished.
