Ooops!
I developed a small problem. Nothing too serious, but it will slow me down. I hope I can get back to sewing soon.

We Have A Winner
I'm happy to say that Renee from our quilting group is the winner of our latest giveaway. Thanks to all of you that e-mailed me to be part of this happy event.
Everyone Gets A Gift
In celebration of Rosh HaShanah, we gave Rochel a crystal honey dish to thank her for everything she does for us.
Each of the ladies went home with their favorite gift, fabric of course.
We hope that this New Year will bring good health and peace to all. May we make many quilts for our friends, family and for those children and adults that are not well. Let's share the love.

Rosh HaShanah
My oldest of 11 grandsons had his Bar Mitzvah on Rosh HaShanah. This was the first time he was called up to the Torah. This is what we call Nachas! I was grateful to be there to enjoy this. This picture was taken just before Yom Tov started because we don't take pictures on a holiday.
This is me with my grandson Betzalel Yitzchak and of course Miriam. She is one of my 3 granddaughters. We are expecting 2 more grandchildren this year. I hope they are girls. I need some more girls to use up all this pick fabric that I've been buying.

So Much To Be Grateful For
This past week has been a busy one for me. I'm so grateful for so many things. First, I have reached my 70th birthday. My friends made sure it was a happy event for me. I went out to lunch with Sara and did some fabric shopping. The next day I went to a Shiur given by Esther at Kever Rochel. It was so exciting to be there.
This is how Kever Rochel used to look.
This is what it looks like now.
In the evening the ladies took me out to dinner and then we went to a wonderful park in Jerusalem to play. One is never too old to play. It was dark, so I hope you can see what some of it looked like.
This is Esther and her daughter trying out a swing. You don't want to see what I looked like trying some of these things.

New Quilt Book
Mazel Tov to Susan on the birth of a new Grandson. I think we are all producing grandchildren as fast as we are producing quilts. Susan has this new quilt book which looks like a winner. We are hoping to get more copies so we can keep up with all these grandchildren that are coming. This free motion quilting is of great interest to us. We have to make our quilts faster to keep up with the demand for baby quilts.
