Rina is making a tablecloth. And what a tablecloth it is. People will be breaking down her door to get a look at this. She better have lots of food ready.
I finally have a picture of this quilt after it was quilted by Rina. This was our latest comfort quilt and it was pieced by Rina also. A very big thank you goes to my sister Sandy in Philadelphia. She was kind enough to donate the fabric for this quilt. It will be loved and enjoyed for many years.
I'm happy to tell you we have a new quilter. Her name is Tova and she has been coming to us from Jerusalem. We are so glad to have this talented lady with us. On her first try she has made several baby quilts and changing pads for new babies. She has done a great job for a beginner.
Rina liked this fabric and quilt design so much, she decided to make this comfort quilt for a little girl here in Betar Illit. It's almost finished now and we hope after Rina finishes the quilting, that it will be delivered next week. Great job Rina. I look forward to seeing this one when it's finished.
Rina recently made this adorable quilt top and has donated it to be a comfort quilt. Some little girl will be so happy to receive this. All we have to do now is sandwich it and quilt it and it will be ready. Thanks so much Rina!
Our latest blue string quilt is finished and has been delivered. I'd like to thank all the ladies that worked on this quilt. It's amazing how quickly we can get a project finished when we all work together.
The purple and white quilt is now finished and just waiting for the right child to receive it. So simple and easy to do. It will make a small child very happy.
Sara made this pillow a long time ago for a very dear friend. She recently was in her friends home and saw the pillow that she made so long ago. How nice to see that it's still in good shape and being enjoyed by her friend and family. Can anything be nicer?
I have several grandson's and fortunately for me, one of them enjoys fixing things. I decided to clean up my sewing room, which always means rearranging things. While doing this I decided it was time to fix my shelving unit. The back needed repair and my grandson, Reuven Yosef, came to help. He did a very good job. Now my fabrics won't fall out the back.
Renee has good news. She just bought a new Bernina.
Well, with a new machine like this, one has to have a sewing room. So, Renee made space in a room that she shares with the family. This includes a closet. I can't wait to see all the new quilts coming from this sewing space.
Renee's daughter Mimi, wants some suggestions on this. She just finished this quilt top and wants to add one more solid border. What color would you suggest is best? Any ideas what should be on the back? This is really beautiful guilt. Whatever Mimi will decide will be terrific.
This is so nice. Susan has made me a special guest on her blog, Friday January 3rd, 2014. Quilting friends are so great. You might like to look in on this post. All of us enjoyed schmoozing and having show and tell together.
